Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision can assist psychologists in training or at varied stages of their careers to develop clinical skills, knowledge, self-reflective practice and maintain self-care.
Supervision incorporates a strong self-reflective approach and developmental models are used to ensure supervision provided is aligned with stage of learning and experience of the supervisee.
A supervision agreement outlines the expectations of both supervisee and supervisor, methods for supervision and outcomes all which are collaboratively defined.
Supervision can be provided in-person or through teleconference, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Individual, pairs or small group supervision (3-4) is available. Clinical registrar program primary or secondary supervision is available, peer supervision or specialised topic supervision as one-off.
